Collection Vlas / Flax
The collection is called "Vlas / Flax" after the materials of the outfits: Flax fibres and Linnen. It was presented at Fashionclash Maastricht 2011.
Flax is one of the oldest sources for clothing material, it was used before the introduction of silk and later cotton and sythetics. It is very strong and has a sturdy feel. Flax is very good for absorbing water and to me, because of its firmness, it feels like paper to work with.
